Vivien Malloy’s Edition Farm is extremely proud of one of its most recent arrivals, a colt by Big Brown born on March 19th out of Touch too Much, a five-year-old daughter of Holy Bull owned by Paul J. Pompa, Jr.. Touch too Much, who had a runner-up finish in one of her three lifetime starts, was bred in Arkansas by McDowell Farm and sold as a weanling at the 2005 OBS Fall Mixed Sale for $37,000. In 2006 she was purchased for $48,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Texas Yearling Sale by Robert Harris (agent), who turned her around at the 2007 OBS March Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training where Pompa purchased her for $200,000.

Touch too Much, out of black type-placed seven-time winner Pawnee Patti (Sir Richard Lewis/Our Felicity [Iron Warrior]), is a half-sister to three winners, including multiple stakes winner Comedero. Her second dam, Our Felicity, produced multiple stakes-winner Dirty Mike ($413,063) along with six other winners, and is a sister to Mystic Warrior, whose daughter Marilyn’s Mystique produced multiple stakes winner Von Groovey ($460,730).
To commemorate the new arrival, fine arts photographer Kathy Landman, who took photos of Big Brown at the 2008 Kentucky Derby, has produced a striking montage for Edition Farm showing Big Brown during the race mirrored by an image of his week-old son in full flight.
Touch too Much is an outcross through five generations, while Big Brown is bred 3S X 3D to Northern Dancer and 3S X 4D to Damascus. Touch too Much and will be bred back to Big Brown in 2010.
